Hi guys some quick question.

Putting together my rig tomorrow morning. .I unboxed everything already. Going with a define r5.

first off, I noticed the corsair h110 has some preset thermal paste. At least it looks like ready to use..should I remove it and paste my mx4 on it? Reason I ask is because im not sure if it is actually thermal paste..the surface looks weird.

The other thing is..should I mount everything on the motherboard first then put it into the casing? Or just mount the motherboard then put all the stuff?

My current rig I diy-ed myself was awhile back and it was a noctua D14..so abit simpler..put mobo, put everything else and then mount the D14. First time dealing with an aio wc with radiator and tubes so a little unsure about them.

I suppose ill be putting the radiator on top? The manual says its better as an air intake. .so. the fans in a pull configuration?

While editing my post I realised maybe I can mount the radiator first then leave the other end hanging...?

new h110 comes with pre-applied thermal paste just like intel stock cooler.
but tink mx4 thermal paste is better

best is to mount backplate onto motherboard > motherboard onto chassis > radiator onto chassis > cooler onto motherboard

i believe u can only mount e radiator on the top as near impossible to mount at the front due to tube length
u can either put fans as pull configure for easier to clean off the dust or push static pressure for better temp
