Not sure how useful. Some airlines already moved to Wi-Fi. Use your personal device to watch, they save on in flight equipment.
And for the people who do bring tablets usually they have own media.

I am currently using the RHA, it worked well with my Bose Quite Comfort. Just purchased the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, will try out on end of this month flight. Also purchased the Airfly Pro too just in case the RHA doesn’t pair with the new AirPods Pro 2nd Gen.

I used the ugreen Bluetooth transmitter with a airline adapter. 8 hour battery life for around 19 each

then paired it with own Bluetooth neck chain adapter with mmcx connectors

my 72 year mum was happy. don't need to use Singapore Airlines earphones

Actually the sound is terrible on the Singapore Airlines krisworld. I wasn't sure if the audio source is bad or their earphones are bad. I usually dont like to watch movies on flights cos of that.

Thought of sharing my initial experience with Airfly in case others need feedback on this product.

I got the basic Airfly SE model of eBay for about US$18. This is the entry level model that only pairs with one BT headphone.

My main use case would be to use it during a year end trip with my AirPods Pro Gen 2 (lightning). There some reviews online saying Airfly totally can’t work with APP2 but my phone experience was quite smooth.

I first turned off BT on my iPhone and then followed the Airfly’s printed instructions to pait with my APP2. Once paired, I connected it to my laptop and tested playing some music which came out fine on my APP2. Volume control using the APP2 also works. There’s no need to “forget” the APP2 from my iPhone’s BT devices before pairing my APP2 with the Airfly.

To switch back to using my APP2 with my iPhone, I switched on the phone’s BT and turned off the Airfly using the Airfly’s power on/off switch. Once the Airfly is off, the APP2 automatically connects to my iPhone.

My iPhone is on iOS 17.1 and APP2 is on 6A305 firmware.
