is it just dump $ to copy other traders then wait for $ to come

So you know it doesn't work like that, yeah? If these guys were really hot-shot FX traders, they wouldn't be opening the kimono on their strategies to mugs like you and me; they'd be working at XTX Markets or another high-frequency shop like that, trading with the house's money and keeping a slice of the profits.

The guys on these copy-trading sites are probably mugs. If they've performed well, I'd suspect it's luck, not skill.

Anyway, the entire point is that you say "copy this random idiot who's done well in the past", and then when the random idiot trades in his master account, the broker automatically executes an identical trade in your account. The broker loves this because they get more volume; the random idiot loves it because they get more publicity; and you just get a bunch of random trades in your account that may or may not be an eventual winner.

i was at a copy trading seminar and they showed people making at least 10% per month!

I was approached by one of these companies before to become one of their traders and let others can copy my trades.

However, I must use their platform, which I'll earn a portion of the spread whenever someone follows my trades. This result of a wide spread which is ridiculous.

I turn them down because I don't like to trade with spread.
