For SGX trading, I google for ones with lowest brokerage fees commissions and most articles talked about the lowest being at 0.12%.

Then I see Fundsupermart FSMOne showing a 0.08% or min $10 fee!

It is a pre-funded account but allows selling from CDP account and it seems for now they also allow free transfers of shares bought with them to your own CDP.

Does this make them one of the best value for money platform to use? Or did I missed out some hidden fee or costs?

HSBC was also offering 0.08% few months ago i am unsure if they are continuing with this rate or have they increased it...

Some traders had mentioned Standard chartered was the cheapest at one point, but i havent really use them as their platform is difficult to use

FSM got its disadvantages though as compared to placing trades with other banks' brokerage, one major drawback is, it does not allow you to queue for trades for the next day after session close 5pm

Their total charges for per trade is calculated as follows :
comm 0.08% , CDP fee 0.0325%, SGX 0.0075%, GST 7%

If anyone knows of any brokerage firms offering less than 0.08% commission for trading SGX stocks , pls sic, thanks

I'm using FSMOne for HK shares. They give 100 free live price snapshot and also promotional live-streaming of HKSE prices.

But I'm using SCB for SG shares because of no minimum commission for Priority banking

Didn't know and now I see on HSBC, they had a 0% commission promo that lasted till end of Nov, just missed it.

Stanchart currently is 0.20% min $10 for normal clients.

So this pre-trading day queuing is more for people with no time to watch in real-time? nice to know.

What are live price snapshot?

SCB no minimum need $300K/year income, that is a tough one to meet.

Snap means u can get an actual live bid offer price, but it is not a streaming quote. So good enough for regular dca.

If u are a regular trader u will get free live streaming.

SCB priority is only 200k aum including shared. I will never dare to queue buy order for next day.. what happens if us market crash overnight?

Are you sure you can sell shares in your CDP account through ifast?

FSMOne Additional Transactional Charge for ETF Transactions

According to FSMOne pricing structure:
A transactional charge of 0.04% as well as the relevant SGX Clearing and Trading fees, including GST are applicable for ETF transactions.

What is a transactional charge?

Does this mean the cost of trading ETF is actually 0.12% and not 0.08% as advertised? That is, 0.12% = 0.08% (advertised brokerage commission) + 0.04% (transactional charge shown in "small print").

Just have to be careful if they start charging platform fees since the shares are not kept with sgx.

Was interested in their bond platform since fees are cheaper than banker but realise got platform reccuring annual fees which makes it not worth at all.

Another question, if join their prestige level. It say flat fee of 10 for SGX stock. Meaning regardless how big my volume is, my transaction fee will still be only 10?

Amazing but true. You buy $10million, comm is only $10... (for SGX stocks only)

https://secure.fundsupermart.com/fsm/new-to-fsm/fsmone-prestige

I sold all my cash unit trust when they introduced platform fee (still keeping CPF UT), but I am a big fan of their share trading account - 0.08% comms for HKSE AND complimentary live data (just trade once a month to get it, the live data is renewed monthly). Compare to IB where you have to pay for live data.

Have you found any retail trading acc below 0.08%?

FSM cannot queue GTC means it's similar to vickers cash upfront.
Have you tried short sell with FSM? Cause I learn from vickers, that cash up front acc can't short sell.

This is the industry standard, when they quote 0.08% that's what they make (their profit). The other charges are standard and apply for every other brokerages

That's for commission only I'm quite sure. You still have to pay exchange fee 0.0075%, clearing fee 0.0325% and gst, these are unavoidable.

Good till cancel.

The problem with vickers is cash upfront is 12bps (10+bps now with rebate) but to short sell, have to use normal vickers which means comms is higher

What’s LimTan trading comms?

Now FSM platform provide the Good-To-Date setting. The platform is user friendly still the cheapest trading site. Will continue to use unless any change in comm charges.
