Funtaiwan 台灣自由行

Hi,

Anyone used the services of Funtaiwan 台灣自由行 before (search Facebook for the page)? Any reviews/comments about this company? Good? Bad?

I'm looking for a company that can do customised travel in Taiwan and book the hotels/minsu in the various areas. I will provide a list of places I want to go and the company will plan the trip accordingly plus add in additional stops where time permits.

Air tickets have already been bought for travel in Dec.

During our family trip (4 pax) we engaged a driver from 台灣自由行 who was recommended by our minsu staff when we were in Taichung back in Aug. Our driver is named Mr Huang.

We arranged the trip just the day before and told him where we wanted to visit. We engaged him for a full day in Taichung for $2800 and subsequently got him to drive us to Cingjing the next day for $1800 (or $2000 cannot rmb exactly).

Pretty knowledgeable with the area and even helped us to pay for entry tickets (Carton king and XinShe Castle). Told us where to go/do and what to look out for. He also helped us took pictures. During the trip he took us to couple of desert shops and even purchased some drinks/food for us to try.

He did not charge extra due to delay along the road when we were on the way back too.

Overall I have had good experience with him though some may find him quite talkative, in a good way :s13:.

Though your experience may vary depending on the driver you get.

Thanks all. I'm confused.

calkel20 and fireworks79 are both advertising their own company that provides the same services as Funtaiwan 台灣自由行?
