Hi I am currently undergoing security clearance (G50) for a job ! But since security clearance takes a long time (2-3 months), I'm getting paranoid about if I fail the security clearance after I have waited so long.
May I ask are there any factors which may cause one to fail the security clearance? For example, not singaporean born parent or relative in other countries?
Context: My dad and I are born in SG. My mum is born in China and converted over to Singapore citizen long ago. My immediate family members have a clean record. Relatives in China not working in Chinese government (worried if relatives in another countries influences my security clearance).
