Gaming headset?

Hello all.

I'm currently looking for a good gaming headset. Budget below $200, ideally below $150. Would the Corsair Vengeance V1500 be good? Or can I whack V2000 for under $200?

i think the logitech G series headset not bad, i would choose that for comfort. esp if u wear specs, u need to try to know why.(i tried at funan challenger. )
but not for noise cancelling, price wise i think 130 or 150

Alternatively you can look at SteelSeries headset.. Just nice got PC show, there's discount.

If I were to look for a tabletop microphone (stand-alone) without the headphones part, what would you recommend, where can I buy it, and how much would it cost?

if you're looking for something different,
i got this 'earset' with a mic thats one sided, imagine those telemarketers use.
its from senheisser, its my spare set, if you want it, pm me

ive used a tabletop mic before, its really better to have something closer to ur mouth, if not ur background sound will be quite loud too.
