Hello, I've shortlisted below specs. Any comments? Mainly play csgo/dota/gta.

intel i5 10400
asrock b460 steel legend
adata spectrix d60g RGB 16gb ram kit
cryorig h7 quad lumi
zotac rtx 2060 super amp extreme
Adata sx 8200 pro 512gb
Toshiba 2tb
evga g+ 650w gold

Try get Z490 mobo. B and H series like lock your rams at your default CPU timing. I.E 10400 = 2666mhz. Even with 3200 or 3600 rams it will still be 2666mhz. So if you wanna get the B or H series try getting 2666mhz rams with low latency timings.

Wow just did a quick comparison and an Intel build is actually cheaper for once. Even if you were to take the Z490 motherboard and 10400 CPU its below $600 compared to a Ryzen 5 which would set you back $650 ish paired with an TUF Gamin X570 board.

And if the system is just for gaming then performance is supposedly a little better on intel (5% or so).

But most people will buy B450 with Ryzen 5 3600, and should not cost more than $500 and still can OC RAM. Whether or not you can find a B450 in stock is another matter.

Either way it's fine TBH, competition is a good thing.

I suggest consider either Asus H470 mobo like TUF H470-PRO GAMING WIFI.
Or Asus TUF Z490-PLUS GAMING WIFI.
B460 like what others, the memory is lock according to installed CPU.

If it is i5-10400 than the RAM will at 2666MHZ, H470 or Z490
the memory is unlock meaning can go higher.

For H470 the RAM speed is locked to DDR4 2666 for i5 and below, 2933 for i7 and i9.
