It is not voltage lock. You can install afterburner beta and unlock it.
Screws tightened? Nah i dont think so. It was a breeze to install my blocks.
Quality? Wait till you open up a twin frozr heatpipes from a r9 290 290x you will know what is the capability of it. Of cause just like asus. They have lightning series. The tri frozr even rog series card other than poseidon has no fight with the tri cooler 290 290x. If they can tame the beast card i dont see what so bad on quality msi has.
I am referring to Asus DC2 the build is crazy the screws have no give. Incredible compared to my Palit and EVGA. It's not MSI no good its that even after owning a number of other brands I still feel ASUS build is the best for their GPUs. There's no creaking when compressed it's rock solid.
I cant say the same for many other brands
In this case we are comparing base model to base model and I dont doubt higher models will trump base ones.
Poseidon isnt very good anyway not worth the money just like striker or the new (cant remember the name) series.
When we refer to voltage lock, even AB Beta isnt enough to unlock the card. We need separate programmes. AB with LLC Hack only gives us up to 1.35v whereas for example Classified Series can go up to 1.65v. That gives us the 1500mhz-1900mhz speed.
That said it's up to TS to see which is his preference in taste and if like he said he prefers Asus then well would encourage him.

I definitely have nothing against MSI and its a good card too! Just be mindful to the other options which are easily accessible
That said, TS if you are looking to OC then be mindful of the power requirements too! Normal OC is ok but once you start overvolting... even for a single card can draw 700-800w alone!
