Any major different between the MSI B85M G43 & the Asrock B85M Pro4? Also the diff between the Ripjaws and the Value ram?

B85M Pro4 comes with PCI slots. Unlike MSI version it comes with a PCIe slot which is pretty much useful for today standards like wireless card, and sound cards.

Ripjaws are more for a gaming ram. I recommend dual channel as your budget allows it. Slightly faster. And games like BF4 does take advantage on dual channel memories. But thats up to you. If you really wanna save money yes value ram will do. Just that not that nice loh.

Thanks for the advice. Just a few more questions, since GW2 is guite a CPU intensive game especially in big events and fights, would it be advisable to go for a faster CPU. Also will the release of mantle make it more worthwhile to buy the R9 270X OC instead?

gtx 760 is 2 tiers above 270x

gtx 760 > 7950 > 270x

no point getting a faster cpu imo, save the money

No point getting a faster cpu. The 4570 is decent enough. 4670 is just 200mhz away. No much difference.

R9 270x is still slower than the 760. Like what esw said. 2 tiers.

I think this has been argued many times.. :o Despite the 'advantage' of having PCIe x1 on the 2nd and 3rd slot of MSI B85M-G43 over PCI slots on ASRock B85M Pro4, you will not want to install any expansion cards on those slots as the 2nd slot will be preoccupied with the dual slot graphics card installed on 1st slot while anything on the 3rd slot will blocked out critical ventilation to the graphics card right above. Tested, proven and accounted here and on many review sites on net. Therefore, whichever type of slots covering over the area will be useless/unsuitable for usage. If beforehand you know you needed more slots you will have wanted an ATX motherboard in the first place. Going on, ASRock's board offers Intel Gigabit LAN, offering direct communication to motherboard's chipset, having lesser latency as well as offering higher throughput (advantageous to gaming) than MSI's regularly used Realtek chip. Thus aking the ASRock motherboard the leading choice for gamers among the two. Couple of cents...
