REally doesn't matter who are the new faces. The rot starts from the top. Even if PAP recruited Liu Bei, ZhugeLiang, Cao Cao, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, anyone with compelling background and superior skills - Once they get elected basically 下海 and begins rotting and end up like LW (we all can see the change when he became the chosen one).

The "I was poor too." plot is so overused and cliche. Their target audience must be fans of Cdramas or Kdramas.
