At the end of the day WP and OPP offer nothing much

Every election complain about same thing, foreigners, housing, cost of living.. they are not tired of saying but most are tired of hearing

WHEN THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE ROOT CAUSE, CIRCUMSTANCES AND OFFER CREDIBLE SOLUTIONS.

we are know these are painful things and can see Opp exploiting such populist issues for self interest.

I hope they realise the whole team and their performance in parliament and on the ground are the issues that run deep.

Tampines has long been a stronghold for PAP. But to have a vote swing of 14% says alot about the electorate here. Perhaps they are being taken for granted by complacent ministers who dun walk the ground (often) to address their concerns?

"SINGAPORE – The PAP team that retained Tampines GRC intends to go back to the ground to better understand issues facing residents, including those that run “really deep”, said its leader, Social and Family Development Minister Masagos Zulkifli."

Or perhaps they are unhappy that Tampines is overcrowded? Or perhaps of the locally induced 2% GST increase which "turbocharges" inflation, hence contributing to a high COL? Or perhaps WP finally decided to send a team here? A very impressive team imo with an equally impressive result on their first showing in Tampines.

But fact is, Gerry is gonna start work tmr & refine the strategies in 5 years time :ROFLMAO:

Tampines might be carved out east & west. Changkat would be absored into west. East might be combined with north

I abit surprised at SDA getting 33% against a PAP team with Indranee there.

Seems like SDA's huge persistence in walking the ground has paid off abit.

Yes they won more last election but TCH was a super heavyweight.
They won less than 2015

Hopefully they continue working the ground in Tampines. Today saw their truck at ave 2, so many people waved and cheered for them

I would want to see what happens next and what are the plans moving forward. Want to see WP walk the Tampines ground and organise some activities here within these 5 years and gear up for the next GE in 2030.

Hoping Eileen or Michael will take up the NCMP seat, Faisal getting some good break before restarting again, OLP and Jimmy interacting with us more.

not sure if this is allowed, they can give 1 of the ncmp seats to next deserving Dr Chee from SDP. He needs it, he is fighting for so many years

Provided someone dont want to take up the seat, then it will be passed.

Eg. if Andre dont take, then the 2 spots all go to WP Tampines team. Unless only 1 fella want and the other 4 dont want, else I see no chance for Dr Chee to be NCMP

I hope they learn from NSP

See WP, run ahhh!!!
SDA should move to those wards with a lot of old people like Jalan Besar or Tanjong Pagar becausr old people like free foodand tiagong Desmond Lim give a lot of food to people in Pasir Ris. Pasir Ris- Changi will be WP next target for expansion as TCH has retired and WP is focused on all the GRC and SMC in the east leaving the mosquito parties to fight for scraps in the center and west of Singapore
