How does this compare with what you suggested?

The issue with this build is the RAM, AMD Ryzen is known to be picky with RAM.
Kingmax wise is a China brand, it may work but whether for the long run
remains questionable.

As well as the power supply is cheap type, for such build go for a more expensive PSU.

Check if they have Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE to replace that Assassin King 120, your CPU will run pretty hot when doing video encoding/ rendering. Dual tower CPU coolers are recommended.

Try also to ask for 32GB ram quote. If it is still within your budget it will help when you are using PS/ premiere pro.

Not sure about that PSU and casing, hope others chip in.

patriot isnt some unknown brand, but when it comes to ur personal data, i would stick with established brands like samsung or wd.

if u prefer that sure, but u wont be enjoying the full distro warranty for some parts if u get from sls, eg lifetime warranty for ram. si usually only offer blanket 3 yr warranty and then u r on ur own.

saving 7% of the cost to go ddr4 (which hurts performance) and halving the ram capacity instead of ddr5 doesnt feel worth it to me, especially since ddr5 is becoming more affordable, offers at least the same performance as premium ddr4 and has room for faster ram in the future unlike ddr4. intel is a viable option vs the amd build i suggested, but for new builds, unless ur on a really tight budget, ddr5 makes more sense.

For Intel K chips which runs at 125 watt is best to avoid boards like ASUS Prime range
as it will throttle the CPU.
The power supply is also not very good is a budget type.

Newer Intel 13th is faster but a bit faster than 12th only so not a big jump |
like from Intel 11th to 12th gen.
Go for older Intel 12th to save a bit of money to use other components.

Totally agreed with this build. When you are looking for a new system now, it's better to get something of current generation and still able to provide you with better upgrading path in the future.

Wanted to ask what you peeps think about this overall? Some of the items not sure if he type wrong like the RAM sounds like should be CL38. He also previously typed wrongly in calling the CPU Ryzen 7 7600x...

I'm looking to get 2x 4K monitors to go with this, for maybe up to photo / video editing / some gaming on 1 monitor only (not both), would this fit the bill? Also for these kinds of shops, is it better to buy peripherals like webcam / keyboard etc. from them or separately?

I've also heard from @NightRaven49 that the suggested CPU and motherboard are not compatible, so not sure if this guy is as reliable as he seems. If anyone has any reviews about Supersystems, please feel free to share as well, initially thought they quite good cos their Carousell ratings are excellent.
