The i80 comes in two different flavors: an i3 model (i80-B3000) and an i5 (i80-B5000) variant for a little more horsepower. The device comes as a barebones unit, so it’s up to you to provide the i80 with storage and memory. Fortunately, there are plenty of options for this with up to 16 GB of DDR3L, a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay, an M.2 interface, an mSATA port and even a TF card reader if you need it.

The Intel HD Graphics 520 engine is enough to muster a maximum resolution of 4096x2304 pixels. However, only the Mini DisplayPort can offer resolutions that high at 60 Hz; the HDMI 1.4 port is limited to 24 Hz.

The Giada i80 also features an IR sensor for JAHC unattended technology. The sensor is limited to support for power-on only, but using the i80 as a signage device is possible.

The Giada i80-B5000 (Intel Core i5-6200U) will retail for $380, but pricing information is not yet available for the Core i-3 model. You can check out the full details of the Giada i80 at the company’s website.
