Nightmare experience with Classic Credit Pte Ltd.
To all future 2nd hand car buyers in Sg.
Stay away from Classic Credit Pte Ltd! I received my 2nd hand Megane RS250 on 4 May 2017.
The clutch failed on my way to JB on 21 May 2017! Imagine being stuck in the causeway jam at that time! I panic and was totally clueless as what to do next. Started calling friends for solutions.
Weird enough the clutch pressure came back after approximately 15mins and I was able to move again.
The next day I text Michelle who was my Sales person and she suggested that I bring over to their designated car workshop to check.
I was skeptical as their workshop should have done a 100% check before sending the car over. I decided to send my car to Han Revolution in AMK.
What followed after this was a series of never ending frustration with the clutch issue! I was told that I needed to change the following.
- Upper clutch pump.
- Clutch plate.
- Clutch disc.
- Gearbox oil seal.
- Lower clutch pump.
- Clutch bearing.
On 23 May, I finally got the contact no of Roland who I had to bring the issue up to. After a series of messages, he only replied on 25 May that I should have brought the car to the designated workshop cause it was covered under warranty.
The trust is no longer there as the issue was not event identified in the first place.
From there on, all my series of messages has not been replied till today.
To make matters worst, I was told that I also needed to change the flywheel. It will take another 10 days before I get my car. I will be without my car for at least 24 days and currently taking cab to work and back which is approximately $45 a day!
Even when I requested for an alternative transport, there was no reply.
The after Sales service is pathetic to say the least. They really don't care!
Currently reviewing some legal options and will definitely claim every single unnecessary expenses incurred because of this.
