Is that your only take away?I click on the link and it says gleam is friendly.
This makes me laugh and almost floors me.
After so many year fooling with coding, I never come across any language that is friendly.
I respect your sense of sarcasm. Is that your only take away?![]()
It is not sarcasm, it is a genuine question to your post.I respect your sense of sarcasm.
The proliferation of programming language bring any good to humankind?
You mention "witness". That thingy cost US$20K a pop. I had to scrape through a course on Simscript during uni time. That thing is event driven. It is not sarcasm, it is a genuine question to your post.
No, proliferation doesn’t seems good, but which one would you have settle for? Assembly? Fortran? C? Python? Java? Javascript? Why settle for C when you could have settle for Fortran? Why Java when it could be C? Why Javascript when you could have settle for Python? In today, most programming languages that most would have settle for, can almost find something before it which you wouldn’t know there is another better one until you have witness it arriving. The only thing that matters is what matters for you, and how do you make that determination without something for you to choose?

I witnessed a lot of things arriving into my life without me spending a cent. All they took is my attention.
