Hi Guys, can I check with you. My car tyres seems a bit faded even though it is still relatively quite new, probably from the exposure to the hot sun. Can I check with you if any of you have any lobangs to get these type of sprays or applications for this?

You mean tyre shine? Most car washes offer to apply tyre shine for your tyres at a cost. If you prefer to DIY, just buy tyre shine bottle from any e-commerce platform.

Thanks. Yup but the ones I am using don’t seem to last very long. I remembered I went to do servicing at Stamford tyres before. The shine was great and lasted for 2 weeks…

Generally, I find that the gel type last longer than the spray on ones.

I have used both the Sonax Tyre Gel (apply on) and Sonax Tyre Gloss (spray on).

The gel does seem to last longer, but it also depends on the weather condition. More wet weather will deteriorate the gel or spray faster.

But for me, it is much easier to do the spray on, so I have switched totally to using the spray now.

I bought a bottle of spray from MY DIY shop at RM8. Don't need to squat apply gel causing back paint. Spraying is a better way to go.
