Hello, I have never been to BKK before and is planning to visit soon. My friends have recommended me to stay in Glow, those who have stayed there before, could you please share how is it? Also, I realised the price budget air and sia are both around SGD400+ for 2 pax, is it expensive for BKK??

been glow before . Deluxe room was good enough if u are not picky.
However, based on the price, would opt for grand diamond (though old, but beside platinum mall)

If you are planning to fly during Dec, normally is more expensive.
Normally budget airline is about $200+ , full fledged is usually $200+ onwards
for example, if u book few weeks back, can get thai airways $205 for early dec travel ...

Pratunam area got v bad traffic jam and it doesn't help that the bts station is far away. If not planning to shop a lot at platinum mall, best not to stay there.

yes agree, that is the down side of staying at platinum mall.
the nearest bts is chitlom , about 15min walk from glow pratunam ...
best would be to stay arnoma hotel ...
beside big c, opposite centralworld, walk to platinum mall is 5min.
walk to bts chitlom is 5 min ...

For glow pratunam, walk to platinum mall, must use overhead bridge , need walk about 5minutes ...
