Gomo or Simba

Currently I am on sim only plan under Singtel. Am considering switching to gomo or simba which is cheaper and I want to retain my number.

Any sharing here is gomo or simba a better choice?

I am on GOMO. $10 a month. 4G. Good enough.

But last week, during the Singtel outage, I experienced problem with my data. No connection for some period, this despite me rebooting my phone, as advised.

Connection ok in Malaysia when buying their package.

Different pple will have different experience and reception. Some pple their office, especially those older buildings, the big 3 telco confirm have reception. Newer telco like simba quite unreliable. Then my office only singtel got signal, the rest like 1 bar or jitao no signal.

Why not you port to gomo, and sign simba separately to test out? Reception hard to judge based on reviews, unless you ask you colleagues or pple living at your blocks.

Gomo do not have voice roaming (I think same for Simba), if that is what you need (although most people use data roaming nowadays). Gomo do not WiFi calling as well which improve reception. I think singtel users when port to Gomo will not enjoy the benefits as stated in the plans

need to see your usage ,if need roaming then need to consider those roaming perks.

if not is need ownself test the network to see if they're good in your area of use. edmwers discuss here until got dragon got phoenix,end up your most commonly used area signal cui also useless.

Oh I ported out to gomo, no such problem.
I ported out from circles to Simba originally lured by the free roaming, worst mistake ever.
You read online, ppl say the roaming connection better than local connection.
Btw this intermittent connection is this month hor, not some 2 year ago status.
Simba is really third world connection, worse than 56k modem

do you go overseas often ?

I prefer one which allows me to make cals overseas for emergency. many don't allow idd calls when roaming.
