Seems like everything is out of stock, Dan case, Ghost S1 and fractual design as well. Is there any small and slick looking mini ITX other than those? Taobao is fine just that I not sure if they are well tested in thermal.

The Ghost S1 is only produced in small quantities and made available once every like 3-6 months.

But with the tophat system, you can shove a ridiculous amount of stuff in there

There's the Thor case https://thor-zone.com/mini-itx/ that is under development as well

Don't get the Ghost S1, many mentioned the quality sucks. Even the clones have better QC.
Get the NCase M1. :)

What about the NZXT H1?

the design is nice, but thermals are so-so only compared to other itx cases. The tempered glass side kinda defy the purpose as it doesn't really showcase your hardware. It would be nice if they make it mesh panel instead.

Not to forget you are stuck with the AIO and PSU they include. At least for now if NZXT decides to sell the case as ala carte down the road

You can also consider the Nouvolo cases. They look similar to the Ghost S1 but are cheaper.

As a Ghost S1 user, i got to say i disagree that the quality is bad. The only main problem with it is getting a good HSF that fits the case, not sure if this is still the case.

I’m using jonsbo vr1. Heartily recommend. Very satisfying build because it’s got a very clever design, good thermals and cool looking.
Discontinued model, but still available on Taobao.
Using it to overclock i5-7600k to 5Ghz, temp struggle to hit 70c (cpu delidded + liquid metal TIM + Hyper 212)
With only 1 chassis fan and 1 cpu cooler fan, and I can’t hear them! :s22:

Their first batch had issues with the tophat.

Other than that it's fine. I've got one

Very compact and expandable

Could use a waterblock. I never bothered with heatsinks in small cases. Just slap a waterblock in and it won't get too chock full of stuff

the Nouvolo appears to be a rip off that happened later.

Yup, read about the first batch having issues. Hopefully they sort out the problem. Cos it's an expensive case and most would expect better QC. :)

After so many years, I still love the Fractual Design Node 202.
Dont have to bother with all those RGBs and showcasing the internals.

They made their cases at a Chinese manufacturer of gate grills with no experience in cases.

Anyway, I backed them on kickstarter, waited a year for it to arrive, and have been using it since. I've gotten a second tophat and I'm actually running it with a 60mm radiator with a pull push config.

Wonder if there's any "console killer" cases like the Sentry 2.0 and Fractal Design Node 202. I am looking is slim enough to squeeze beside by vertical PS4 Pro.

I’m itching to build a tiny PC using the NZXT H1 but waiting for a x570 motherboard to support a front panel USB-C header before I commit to it :)

That to me is the new Xbox killer!

TaoBao have a lot of great ITX cases that you can't find in Sim Lim. Some are good quality, some are so so. And some are extremely well built like those Deng F12 and F15 Pro cases.
Only downside is long waiting time (1~3 months), since most are small time or should I say boutique case manufacturers.

If unsure about the case quality, don't buy first. Ask around here or SFF network. I am sure most are willing to help. Happy shopping! :)
