Google GMS --> Huawei HMS

Hi guys,

I own a Mate 30 Pro (side loaded). It has been operational so far and its my daily driver (hasnt prompted any errors..touch wood!!).

Would like to switch back to Huawei HMS. Least it gets "bricked" after google does anything funny. Does anyone happen to know any guide to move across?

I knew i can factory restore and phone is full HMS. I wanted to know how or what apps we can use to migrate our Google Contacts, Google Photos onto HMS environment.

Any help or referrals greatly appreciated.

You can backup to Huawei Cloud.

Google Photo - > Yandex Disk.

I migrate all my google contact to outlook /Hotmail. More mutual platform since I can use for ios and android

For photo, if u got a home NAS, use it else I think u can use Google photo web if u want to have unlimited storage

De-google yourself and avoid Google apps? Google is the 2nd MS.

If xiaomi grows too big and its influence is similiar to huawei then trump will do the same to xiaomi and ban US businesses from working with them. What xiaomi should focus on other than global sales now is to co develop another OS with huawei. Same goes for oppo. To just focus on its global sales and work with google, xiaomi is very short sighted.

Xiaomi do not sell communication equipment. Their target is home/office user only. Very different model vs Huawei.

Agreed. Xiaomi is also one of the largest IOT makers in the world. From smart switches, purifiers, oven, fridges, washing machines, ceiling light to pillow and Vaccum flask.

So far, they haven't go into networking and building equipment yet.
