Today, we had the chance to bring our problematic DEMO set which happens to be from US.

In some sites, on the description, it shows US WARRANTY.. Many people have been talking about this and it's time to put this to a stop.

Above: Copy of the service form. Clearly shows its within warranty

Above: Photo taken on the monitor screen of ASUS. CLEARLY shows its GLOBAL warranty.

Furthermore, do note that ASUS WILL honor the warranty for the LTE (Not launched yet in SG at the time of this post) sets..

I hope with this post, we clear all the doubts of NEXUS 7 Warranty.

ALL Brand New Tablets/Notebook by ASUS comes with international warranty.

proof of purchase required for warranty claim?

So that's confirmed. :D

Will you guys still continue to bring in US LTE models? Will your current terms still stand?

Latest update: 14th Oct 2013

CORRECTION TO OUR EARLIER CLAIMS
My apology for claiming all Nexus 7 comes with international warranty. Seems like LTE models does not have international warranty.

We are still figuring out if the other Wifi models have international warranty. We will keep this thread updated.

Just a side note, customers who have purchased the Nexus 7 from us and is unable to get warranty support from ASUS, we will honor the warranty. We will send it back to GOOGLE US / ASUS US for repair/replacement.

Argue until face green green, in end confirm no warranty for LTE model, and wifi only model also akang datang lah... :s8:

Lucky for my fren, he took my advice not to buy the LTE model from unauthorised retailers until it is officially launched here...... or else he really kena fly to Holland to eat holland bean...:s13:

hi,

no need to pay any shipping. As long as its purchased from us and we have enough replacement stocks, we will replace you for any hardware fault.

If there is not enough stock to replace, we will loan you a temporary unit until the replacement set arrives

for our warranty policy, kindly visit our site and have a look.

Thanks

I did not think much when I order mine wifi set from amz. Warranty is not my priority or main concern. Even with local warranty, it is not like Asus is doing like Apple that 1-to-1 exchange.

Continue to wait for local release. I'm enjoying mine.
