Hmmm I wonder why they want to undercut their own flagship sales especially when the 7 already priced quite well at $599 USD..

No point lah... Pixel camera is all about software processing. Regardless the sensor, they will always tune it to Pixel colors, unless you intend to shoot raw and process it yourself.

Wireless charging is always the first to go when making cheaper/affordable handsets. Definitely won't be A series

TL;DR
  • A new leak has potentially provided some surprising details about the Pixel 7a.
  • The leak suggests the 7a could have a 90Hz refresh rate and wireless charging.
  • The leak also suggests the phone is getting a new camera setup.

ZTE nubia z40s pro used IMX787 ( 64mp 1/1.7" ) with a 35mm lens setup
If Google Pixel use with wider lens like 25 or 27mm, maybe crop to smaller megapixels

Didn't find any info about IMX712 but there is a IMX713 which was used in iPhone 13 Pro
12mp 1/3.4" tele lens
