many folks surely not aware that the kueh bahulu are the leftover mix from loveletters rolls.

Yes.. basically 100% same ingredients.
love letters u need to clamp and toast over charcoal fire, turn periodically, unclamp, roll, repeat. Very tiring.

Bahulu simply pour same mix into mould and bake

eggs, coconut cream, wheat flour, rice flour, sugar, butter.
crispness and fluffyness is the ratio of rice and wheat flour. generally 50-50.
