Vision is not great for some predators as well. This is how a lion sees a zebra against certain backgrounds.

Very interesting images. I used to wonder why Zebras look so unique, how to hide from predators.

Examine the actual eyes.
Humans have receptors to detect red, blue and yellow.
Dogs can only detect blue and yellow.
Birds can see red, blue, yellow + UV.
