I think candidates can go to polling stations under the GRC/SMC they are contesting. But they can only observe and not speak to voters. They cannot go other polling stations which they are not contesting.

1997 is different becos LHL and GCT won't contesting in Chengsan

So qns is if the simei polling station is under East Coast GRC
or not. If not, then illegal leow
