I have had so many people assail me with their supposed "genius" IQs or even their much less impressive membership in Mensa, an organization dedicated purely to snobbery. Intelligence is, for the most part, an immutable genetic gift, something you have that you did not earn. You are as smart as you are; it is what you do with the intelligence you have that matters, not the fact that you have a deep intellectual reservoir from which to draw.
