Hello,

My Sapphire 7970 OC GPU started crashing and artifacting after setting it to boost mode on the 2nd BIOS switch.

The boost state is set by Sapphire themselves at the factory, does it mean that there is already issues then from this card? Just got this rig not long ago, should be able to rma if really necessary..........

Sorry for the late reply, i totally forgot about this..

Any idea where i should bump the voltage up to?..

Also, Sapphire TRIXX doesn't save my Board Power Li settings and i can't get pass 1062mv.

I will be testing one match of bf3 with the boost clocks (1000/1450) w/1062mv and 20% control settings.

Update: Able to play for quite a while without crashes or artifacts. Stable at 55c with automatic fan speed.

frm the post no need to raise voltage unless oc'ing.

try setting "force constant voltage" and "raise the Board Power Li" to 15-20 to see if still crashing and artifacting when in boost mode 1st...

Thank you! Solved the issue, testing for 2 hours now, no crashing or artifact.
