Anyway guys, I bought a new Asus EKWB RTX3090 as well as took the opportunity to change out my EVGA 1000W G+ PSU to seasonic GX 1000W. All is well now, I found a shop that is willing to repair the 3080.

finally a closure to this issue, but $$ gone.

I last check with Asus SG and they said need to contact asus USA. But i tried filling in the USA RMA form and they need all the USA address.

Bought this card from a carousell seller saying its local set but now have issue and found out from Ban Leong this card was sold from amazon US.
Check with Amazon US and see if they can help. Otherwise, you may need to check if a forwarder like VPost works.

I think willing to repair and able to repair are 2 different things. As I mentioned, it depends on what is faulty. And I hope you bought a local set for the Asus RTX 3090, otherwise, if it is from Amazon, you are going to end up with the same warranty issue. If you are buying from Amazon, your best option will be EVGA since they offer international warranty, although you will still need to mail it back at your own cost.

Because they know if they say no warranty, they either have to,
1. Sell it a lot cheaper, or,
2. nobody will buy it.
