My current PC (i5-3450, 8gm ram) has been running on onboard graphics ever since my old GPU died. Feel like catching up on some of the current steam games and past games I used to play (i.e. guild wars 2, d3, cod, etc.) so will need to get a new gpu installed on my rig.

Anyone can recommend any compatible GPUs to pair with my processor? Im not into all the ultra high quality AA graphics; med - high quality will do.

thanks.

You can get 2nd hand cards if you are not picky.

I saw GTX 660 going for 50 dollars.

AS mentioned by "muddle" and "deepblue_82", any GPU will do.

For GTX660, generally on the 2nd hand market, it is selling around $170 - 250 for the last 2 months in both Hardwarezone IT Garage and VR Forum garage.

Using same processor as you, running on GTX670 and can handle medium - high settings quite smoothly.

however for d3 I set low because in 4pax plays kinda laggy when all the spells start flying.
