GPU up lorry today

now using motherboard integrated graphics. Its the zotac gtx970 bought from lazada during black friday.

Suddenly halfway pc restarts then say 'please power down and connect the pcie cables for this graphics card' or something like that.

Anybody else also kena or I suay?

1. Off com, including switch on psu.
2. Remove gpu from mobo.
3. Remove power cord for 10s and then put back in.
4. Put in gpu and try again.

If still fail, then got chance gpu issue. I presume everything is working fine with igpu?

yup i troubleshoot those steps kena the same msg.

igpu is fine.

Tml i call the vendor see how

I wonder how long must wait to settle, never kena this sort of things before.

I think in the end, u still need to go down if they allow 1-to-1 exchange. Might as well just head down and try to settle it.

Got back from Tech dynamic from Chai Chee lane.

Tested my card there and also got the same 'please power down and connect the pcie cables for this graphics card'. Boss said my card defective and got a 1-to-1 exchange of a brand new card . Pretty lucky cos it was the last piece.

The boss also said if the card oos they will loan you another gpu in the mean time, but it be a lower end one or else he said customer wont want to return it lol.

Hopefully my this zotac gtx 970 can last way longer

so far my zotac dont have any issue... serve me really well...
