Okay from what I know is the certain GPU works best with 1440p and 4K reso while some doesnt.

Based on budget alone Im looking at the RTX4060 which reeviews isnt good for 4k gaming. But since my exisiting monitors are still in excellent condition (1080p). Would that suffice as I understand that the RTX4060 is excellent for 1080p. Unless I get a 4k monitor then the RTX4060 probably wouldnt suffice?

Need some kind inputs from other gamers casual or hardcore. I'm just a casual gamer

Honestly if you're just a casual gamer using a 1080p monitor, the rtx 4060 should suffice for your need, as long as you're not planning to replace your monitor anytime soon. Don't expect the 4060 to allow you max settings at 1080p for recent games though.

For casual gamer why not consider and rx 6600 xt ? At least you won't be paying for features like dlss not neede by casual gamer on an entry level 4000 series gpu. And amd has good 3rd party community driver if amd's driver not reliable.

How much would the RTX 4060 cost you? Then, look at the available AMD card at that price point as AMD usually offers a better alternative to an equally priced nVidia card, which Amazon Sg has priced at about 460SGD and higher. An ASRock RX 6750 XT cost a smidgen more at 480SGD but has better 1080P and 1440P performance over the RTX 4060 without RT enable, or at minimum since you're a casual gamer.

The RX 6750XT with 12GB VRAM actually trades wins against the much more expensive RTX 4060 Ti 8GB. IF you want a card that would be of service or good use to you for a longer period, the RX 6750XT 12GB would be a better choice since it has 'longer legs'. IF you want a cheaper card, an RX 6650XT would suffice for 1080P gaming...
