Hi,

Suspect current GFX is giving problem, actually have changed two already but both after awhile also spoil, old liao.

System unable to boot, no beep, and signal. Plugged vga into mobo, and immediately can boot.

Now change to another one, also from friend (gtx 460). Suspect also going to spoil soon, some artifact-like. So want to buy a brand new one.

Wondering if I get the current on promo one - Palit Geforce GTX750 Ti StormX Dual 2GB GDDR5 would it fit into my system? Will it work? And also I'm not sure what's the length of this gfx. Is it the same as 460?

Hi bro, yours is E8400, most modern GPU will be held back by your CPU. Really suggest to upgrade to a atleast sandy bridge i5, around here or the blue forums should be able to find. Probably a H61 Mobo at $30+ and a i5-2xxx for about $100 or less. Then get maybe a 280x. If you don't have the budget then upgrade to atleast a Core2Quad, would help alot. and for your issue, did you check if it's your PCI lane spoilt or have you tried a different PSU? I recommend swapping out to a different PSU, maybe ask your friend to lend.

What's blue forum?

If possible, then don't do any other upgrade loh.
My brother using that rig to play CS:GO. So if don't need to spend then avoid spending loh unless necessary loh.

Haven't tried another PSU though, but I kinda think that PSU is fine, my hunch.
PCI lane, maybe? So will be using the current one (460) to use for awhile, and see how it goes.

Previously was thinking to get a new rig but if the current one still can tahan then let it be loh.
