Anyone bought it before? How to buy and use? Do we still need to queue up at individual museums to get the tickets or can just show them and enter?

At the exhibition entrance have the attendant tear off your ticket, then please enter the exhibition.
[Discounted ticket]
At the museum Ticket Counter (Lobby Floor), have the attendant tear out your Grutt Pass 2016 coupon ticket. After paying the discounted fare, please enter the exhibition.

I bought it in april. I found that individual admissions were cheaper depending on what you wanted to see. The really good exhibits are all not in grutto pass.

thanks for the tip! we only wanted to go to miraikan, i saw the list and got interested in ueno science and nature museum too but it only add up to 1.2k yen and the tix is 2k yen. the rest are just not for me.
