My network adapter suddenly disappeared ( wireless and BT ).

It does not show up in the device manager and on the bottom right wireless icon

Tried :
1. restart, Reset = not working
2. uninstall, reinstall driver = not working

now running on External Wireless adapter

any possible solution or the wireless card died ?

Thanks

Just to update,
after changing the new wireless card, the wireless speed is back to acceptable level ( comparable to 3 yrs old laptop ) , stable and no drop.
before this, was told wireless issue is because of N router I am using ( singtel router ) and the AC wireless card from stock is not compatible and to fix this I have to change to AC router.
Well, this is actually not true now that the same new Intel AC7260 wireless card does not have this problem. -

for the eeee sound, found that when I plug steelseries mouse next to the headphone slot, the sound will be there, if I plug the mouse on the right side usb, there is no sound.

At least good to know your wireless problem is fixed. The sound problem is most probably due to poor insulation of the jack port. Therefore its picking up interference from the USB port. Try plugging in other devices and see you get the sound.
