Gtx 1070 low fps

Anyone with gtx 1070 having low fps in games like csgo? The gpu usage doesn't exceed 50% and I only have around 100+fps in game. It should be more though.

fps around 250 - 350

did u forget to put the settings fps_max <number> ?
i set mine to fps_max 500

but sometimes it will dip to 200+ or even 160+
probably some background process suddenly eat cpu.
but in any case my settings are all medium except models at high.
then all the effects like fxaa etc all set to lowest or turned off

rmb to do clean install of drivers with DDU,

On the other hand a GTX 1070 won't improve your fps if ur previous card at minimum had the performance of a gtx 960 already.

i put fps_max 800 already and all settings low. is your driver 376.33?

If I aint wrong, CS:GO is CPU intensive and not GPU intensive. So even if u get a gtx1080, ur problem might still exist

Sorry TS, can I hijack? I have only the zotac 3 gb 1060, when I played overwatch I managed to get 89 FPS for the first game, but subsequently it drops to 69FPS and never go back up again. Anyone knows why? Have not changed any settings.

Yeah, csgo is more cpu intensive, ts, try bumping your cpu clockspeed up or you need change your cpu
