Hardisk recommendation needed

With a 1Tb NVME as OS disk, I need a 4Tb hardisk for data storage, may prefer 2.5" over 3.5" depending on price...
Will get another external 4Tb for backup.

Which brand/model is recommended?
Currently using a couple of Seagate Barracudda 1Tb/1.5Tb/2Tb, failure rate is 20%
Any better brand/model than Seagate Barracuda series?

Get the external ones from Prime Now / Amazon and just remove the HDD. Can get 10TB for 292 SGD on Newegg also

Thanks but I'm not into big capacity, prefer to split into few smaller ones so that if one fail only lose a fraction of a big capacity one.
My current way on the old rig is from internal disk backup to external disk, the data on internal disk is not permanent so if the backup disk fails, I might lose data, hence I also backup the backuped-disk. Not sure if my current method is good or there's a better way?

If you don't mind going back to Seagate, their Ironwolf NAS are not bad, about the same price as WD RED NAS.

Currently have 3x ironwolf + 2x Seagate desktop + 2x HGST NAS running in my main system. The HGSTs run hotter, make louded noise and produce noticeable vibration than the other 5x Seagate HDD.

In total, I have 11 Seagate HDD running in multiple systems now, 2 of them were RMA replacement. They were Desktop and 7200.1x models, the Ironwolfs are fine.

I had new HDD that DOA, I have old HDD from 2009 that still running in my daily systems, WD SE 6400AAKS. Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.B and Seagate 7200.11 320GB. Thus I won't say which brand is more reliable than the other. Which ever is the cheapest and less vibration/noise will be my pick.

My bad experience is with Seagate Barracudda series, my office bought 300pcs (new series than mine - black/green label) and the failure rate is 30+%, haven't tried the Ironwolfs though...
I have a few Seagate 400Gb/500Gb/750Gb, the 400/500Gb only 10% failure while the 750Gb the failure rate is higher. I no longer using them, only store my 10yrs old of photos and other stuff, might donate away along with my Intel Q6600 PC sitting in the storeroom.

That's quite a good price, but I'm looking for 2.5" size, yesterday after removing the 3.5" drive bay of Tt View 31 casing, I can only install 2.5" drives on the right side of casing, those are the area with tons of wires/cables, 3.5" drives are taking up more space...

I was about to ask this question after I checked COMEX brouchers, highest capacity for 2.5" is only 2Tb.
