Hardware or ios defects?

got an ip4. dropped from table height before a few times with a rubberised casing

recently, when playing games or play mp3, no sound comes out.
whatsapp tone - random

only ringtone no issues.

did a recent ios update and reset the settings, still the same.. volume keys sometimes work, sometimes doesn't

not sure worth repairing or not

Most likely is a hardware problem

If can't be sure why not get a diagnosis which part is faulty
