Hatyai Recommendations

hi all,

i am planning to go to hatyai this coming end of november.
will be my first time there.

-is tigerair the only budget airline that flies there?
-any decent hotel to recommend that is around 500-700bahts per night?
-how is transport availability over there? easy to get around?

Jetstar don't fly to Hatyai.
Air Asia fly from KL and BKK.

Tiger is the only airline that flies there. Another option is to fly to penang then take a taxi to hat yai. But that'll be too much trouble unless you wanna to cover both places together.
