Can buy from eBay, if u are not in a hurry.

Anyway, do try to use a shorter cable for the "out" part, as some signals may not be strong enough to traverse the cables from the "in" part together with a longer cable for the "out" part.

I saw this model at DealExtreme but it's a hussle just to order only this item. Thanks for the heads up on the HDMI wire length.

I bought a 50cm cable just for the purpose.

If u want to be even more careful, u can just buy the male-to-male HDMI connector, if u dun need the length on the "out" part.

Where did u buy the 50cm cable?

I dont quite get u on the male-to-male connector. Any pic? *edit: Oh I got it.

fyi, I got 2 diff switches becos the first model has lot of noise, I tot I got a lemon set. After the 2nd model also gives me the same result, I given up. Just unplug my hdmi cable & switch manually. hahaha.

All from eBay lor... I think less than $2 if I got the price correct.

Yes, the HDMI cable has a male connector at each end mah. So the male-to-male connector I'm referring to, is also like a HDMI cable except that it doesn't have the length. So that means the HDMI switch is fixed near the HDMI input of the TV/monitor. If that's not a good place (eg: rear of the TV/monitor which is hard to access) then just use the 50cm one lor.... can even buy 20cm one if I'm not wrong.
