Turn off the power in the DB box, use your hand reach between the 2 pins then try to pull them away from each other. There should be a metal cap at the tip of the pins which is preventing you from getting it out.

Looks like you have a very poor quality plug pins with protruded edge. Nothing much you can do except to twist and take the time to try pulling it out.

WRONG.....

Take a flat screwdriver, MAKE sure don't zap yourself.

push into the 2pin plastic adapter on top and leverage out. Sometimes the plastics melted thats why its' stuck. when came out, double check the socket.

If doesn't work, then you need to remove the socket cover (turn off the breaker) because it's worst, the 2 pin may have sparked and weld inside.....

usually if the socket is damaged, the on/off button will be stuck.... usually at on position :(

I'm worse. I have 3 pins plug for the kettle stuck inside the socket. Any idea how to remove that?
