Would like to seek advice on possible upgrade or buy new prebuilt one. Below is the system I assembled myself in 2018 ( first and only time DIY). I play all total wars games except warhammer series and recently picked up assassin's creed origins and I noticed loud fan noise from system and crashed once. Cleaned up the system from dust and fan noise quiet down but was wondering whether it is time to upgrade or get new system though I am not heavy gamer. Mostly only play RTS games.

1. ASUS TURF B450M-PLUS GAMING AM4
2. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model F4-3000C15D-16GVRB
3. AMD RYZEN 3 2200G Quad-Core 3.5 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 65W
4. MSI Radeon Rx580 Armor 8GB OC
5. HP SSD EX900 250GB
6. Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB
7. 3TB HDD
8. EVGA psu ?? Watt
9. Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 (CC-9011069-WW) Arctic White Steel Micro ATX Mid Tower Air 240

Any help is greatly appreciated. Hoping to reuse parts as much as possible if the above system can be upgraded.

whether u need to upgrade is depends on how satisfied u are with ur current rig. if after cleaning no problem and u are ok with how it performs in ur games then I don't see any need to upgrade, especially now with shortages affecting the prices of many parts.

Loud fan noise, you may want to look at your CPU & GPU temperature when gaming. See if they have abnormal high temperatures.

Thank you for all the help and advices. Really appreciate them. I know I can count on all the gurus in HWZ. I think I will upgrade the cpu to 3600 first and see how it goes if I can get hold of one. Systems temps seems better after cleaning though. Thanks guys.

i upgraded my mb bios to latest and after that i get constant bsod with different errors. Troubleshooting last night till late with no result. Power off system and went to sleep. This morning unable to power up unit though mb still have light pulsating. I guess time for new pc. Any suggestion on whether buy parts online and diy or get parts from sim lim and ask for assembly or just buy from shops like after shock or dream core.?

Relax, could be faulty RAM. Have you tried unplug each of the RAM and try again?
