(Help) ASUS RT-AC68U VPN Setup

Hi,

I'm trying to setup VPN access to my office network.
My router ddns setting is done


MY VPN settings is done.


I connect to the VPN on my home computer and it says connected on the computer.

But on router it just says connecting.

Did I miss out any step?

You are the VPN client in this case, your workplace is the VPN server; you set up on the wrong tab.

You only need to connect to your office network right ?
Why not just set it inside Windows on your desktop/laptop ?

Cuz he wanna route all his home traffic through his workplace maybe?

Sorry for the information being unclear.

There is no vpn set up on my office router/PC. I'm trying to setup one now.

The screenshots are of the settings on my office router. I'm using TeamViewer to connect to office PC from my home to try to set up the router for vpn.

You will need to enable DDNS if your office network doesn't have a static WAN IP

I finally managed to flash the router to Merlin and used openvpn to connect successfully to the router from home.

What steps do i need to take to view my files in office thru vpn? As of now, I can't see any files or computers.
