Hi all!

I'm planning to replace my old graphic card (sapphire hd7850 2gb oc) with palit gtx1070 sjs. From my research, it looks like my current pc specs should be able to run it? But I'm not so sure, therefore I would like to get some feedback from you guys before the purchase. =)

---

My pc specs:

CPU: i5-4460
MB: ASUS B85M-G
RAM: PC3-10600/1333MHZ G.SKILL DDR3 (Black PCB) 4GB x4 (16GB in total)
GPU: Sapphire HD7850 DDR5 2GB OC
HDD: Adata SP550 120GB SATA3 x1 (OS Drive) ; Hitachi 2TB 7200RPM 32MB x1
ODD: LG 24X DVD-RW SATA
Case+PSU: Xigmatek Asgard XP Case + Seasonic S12II 620W
OS: Windows 10 Home

---

Questions:
1. Can my pc support the upgrade to gtx1070?
2. Would 620W be enough for my pc after changing to gtx1070?
3. I've heard of bad or random matches among pc components might lead to bottlenecks where some parts are unable to run at optimal performance. But I have no idea what's considered "bad matches"...x'D It would be nice if any kind soul could shine some light on me. =')
4. Sooo are there any "bad matches" in my current pc build? For example, anything you would recommend to replace for better performance?

Thank you so much in advance! =D

Not even a problem lah. Just pull out old gpu and put in the new one. Make sure your case has enough clearance for the 1070.

Yes to one and two.

I don't know what are bad matches but your cpu looks absolutely OK.

Thank you so much for the quick responses!! ^^
Glad to hear that good news YAY >w<!!

Just one more question, my case's dimension is (W) 200 x (H) 445 x (D)470 mm and palit gtx1070 sjs has a dimension of 133 x 285 mm. I tried to physically measure the graphic card's size with a ruler, to see if it could fit in if I decide to buy it lol...I think it's alright.

But just wanted to confirm in case - is anyone using a case of similar dimension and running palit gtx1070 sjs at the same time?

Hi ZrE0 thank you so much for your replies!=D

Nice, glad to hear all's fine! Ahhhh okay, I'll research on how to do the tests and run them! (I'm really noob at all these kinda more in-depth pc things x'D)

Hahah aiya, I was hoping that with all the pros here on the forum, by looking at the specs I listed about my pc, if there's any bottlenecking or "bad match", they would be able to give a "good match" suggestion...=')

Ohh I already posted my case's brand in the first post, it's "Xigmatek Asgard XP Case "! =)
