[Help] Catalyst Control Centre and Host Application. Long running script.

What do you do when you encounter---
(a) Catalyst control Centre 0 Host application has stopped working. I just started the computer, and had yet to even start opening any programme or browser yet.

(b) Long running-script - should I still wait (sometimes seems forever) or stop anyway??
