HELP! Computer Lags After Installing New GFX

Hi All,

Believe it or not, i'm taking around 10 minutes to type this out to you guys.
I've just changed my Nvidia GTX 650 Ti Boost and it lags my PC up. Few changes i noticed:

1) Whenever i type in words, youtube, etc my keyboard lags. I.e i type 'the lazy brown fox as per my speed, it comes up as telaz fox'

2) I plug in my external USB drive, the PC lags to the point the mouse moves all over the screen slowly.

3) My games such as Battlefield 3 and Hitman Absolution freezes after awhile.

I'm thinking if its my PSU unit but it can't be as it is 620W already. Or do you guys think its the cooling factor?

Intel i5 - 3570k
8GB RAM
Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
Seasonic 620W 80+ Bronze
ADATA SP900 S3 SSD 256GB
Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB
Leadtek Geforce GTX 650 Ti Boost (original ATI 7770)
Windows 7 SP1

few things can lag.

1)bios- u plug e card, bios detect wrong or corrupt setting. clear bios.

2)ram- bad ram.

3)ATI + Nvidea- many years ago i replace ati wif nvidea, did a 3dmark very poor, after i fully uninstall ati, it improve.

4)internet and virus - just kidding.

psu shld b ok.

add: if still dun work, disconnect ur wd if it is not e os disk , temporarily to troubleshoot.
Talking abt cooling, for long term sake, wan to describe ur casing a bit.

Mine is a 32-bit windows 7. Yes, updated my driver on nvidia website already.

few things can lag.

nvidea 650ti is higher end den 7770 shld consume more power and thus hotter, hot air rise cold air sunk, conventionally cold air shld suck in from bottom and blow up from top, important is where is e hot region is form, oso cable managment, casing size too small, too cramp, oso play a part.

Ok cool man, what i will do now is take out my entire side window and play battlefield 3 and surf the internet for a longer period of time.

try use drivercleaner to completely uninstall the AMD drivers, then uninstall and reinstall the nvidia drivers again.

Just got a quick question. As i'm using windows 7 32 bits, the ram allocated is only 3.58GB when i have 8gb installed. Will this affect the 'lag-ness' i experience?

y dun u keep e other pic since u got 2 and u r using 32bit

u mobo got 2 gfx slot, make sure u slot in u best perfomance slot.
if still slow, tempoariy remove ur sound card and c.
also u slag is due only to mouse and keyboard? r they usb cos they r by usb controller which relate to chipset(which from mobo drivers and may oso affected by bios version issue)

if u have try all resorts but still cnt hlp, and if u dun mind do a clean install of window again. oso since u replace ur card, check all connection again.
