Help : computer slow start window, and function appear to be sluggish

Help guys .

I start window today , it took a freaking 10 minutes and it seem sluggish at order.
Took 3 minutes to open a single command open device manager.

Can i check what should i do? My graphics card is gtx970x oc.

Disc drive maybe the problem?

Also in chrome it forever waiting for cache , same as Microsoft edge


What recommend item should i replace?

Buy new...don’t waste time...anything more than 5-7yrs ago...just changed new...

But my office 7yrs old i5 4690 still super healthy n fast wor. I think can still run for another 3 yrs

By your description of your problems u faced...maybe hard drives, or software issue...wait 10mins to start up, wait 1-3mins for browser app to open....Kao...I couldn’t even take a 6secs wait that well....bang table already...

Try reformatting your OS bah...if problem exist...then change hard drive...if problem again exist...then go to my solution I guess...

Mine ? Nope , I install $50 SanDisk SSD load up takes Abt 5-8 secs

Sounds like hard drive going to die soon. Install CrystalDiskInfo and check SMART.

On hard disk or SSD?
Given the age around 5 years the storage may have to check and change.

You can useCrystaldiskinfo to check HDD health.

Take note even if you have SSD and HDD, if HDD have issue it will slow the PC down
as it is trying to access the disk drive but at a slower speed.
Try reinstall Windows as well, Windows 10 tend to update time to time and it will cause
issue down the road especially for a 5 years + pc.

I agree. I think your hard disk is dying soon. If you have more than 1 drive, it does not need to be the main drive. As long as 1 drive is faulty or gonna fail, you will experience this sorts of slowdown.
