[Help] CPU over temp error

Hi all. Today start up my desktop having this error in POST.
"CPU fan speed error"
So after some googling, I set the fan speed monitor to ignore. Now after boot up I have this...
"CPU over temperature error! Press F1 to continue"

Anyone has any advice? Below are my specs for mobo and cooler

Asus Z270E Strix / Corsair H100i V2

Full specs on my profile.

Any reliable person to contact for repairing this issue? Did some google search and found out it might be some thermal paste problem or something. Or maybe the pump fan not working etc. This section is something I'm totally not familiar with.

Are you able to see the temps? I believe you can check even in the BIOS.

Entered the BIOS and CPU showing temp hovering at 86C...

Fixed this setup for more than 6 months alr. Today suddenly have this problem.

Check if your cooler is mounted securely and also that the pumps and such are working. You can also check the fan on the radiator to make sure they are spinning. Normally the fans should hold, but higher chance for pumps to fail.

take back to distributor n claim. h100i if new should have 5 yrs warranty.

I kena leak before. Worse. Motherboard uplorry n warranty void. Heng sui bah. After that no more water cooling.

You know able to check if your pumps are faulty and whether the cooler is mounted properly?

And do you still have stock cooler? Can swap out the cooler and see if the PC has issues with stock cooler.

Just go get a Cooler Master Hyper 212. No reason to get water cooler. You have to worry about pump failure and on top of that, there is a risk of leak.

I think it is a good choice to avoid water cooling. I don't understand how can people think putting water and electrical components together is a good idea in the first place.

Firstly, it is NOT water. Why people keep think that the liquid inside is water?

Although i too highly advise air cooler(im using 1 as well) i do see some usage in aio.

1. For people with itx cases which don't support behemoth-sized air coolers yet want similar cooling performance.

2. Aesthetics. You gotta agree it has a much cleaner look. Also more rgb options.

3. For the best cooling performance. Only applicable to those top end coolers like kraken x61. When compared with the best air coolers, these top end aio will usually beat it in terms of temps.
