Sorry for my late reply.
*When i look into "Disk Utility App" it shows, Used 102GB and Free Space 18GB. However, the "Disk Inventory X app" show as in the image below Used 69GB Free 18GB.

It seems the missing space is occupied by the Mystery upper "grey Box" in the image.

*Yes i have never "turn on" Time machine.

*What is "tmutil destinationinfo"? How to check for that (if need to use terminal, pse advise in command line)?

Appreciate your advice on this "irritating missing disk space mystery".

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 120.5 GB disk0s2

e result from diskutil cmd seems normal. hmm it all seems a little weird. at this point I would take a full backup, wipe n reinstall macOS then restore yr files. when reinstalling, check for any partitions n reclaim e space. did u install bootcamp for Windows previously? it could be a bootcamp partition.

I have no idea how to install Bootcamp. This is what i got when i Open Bootcamp assistant.

If i did install Bootcamp it may be too many years till i cant recall. However, the disk-space that goes missing happens only this year. How do i check if there's any Bootcamp installed previously.

Can someone who has installed Bootcamp, advise if the file (disk) size is ~24GB? I'm assume this maybe a way to confirm your "gut-feel".
