HELP: Diy pc recommendations

I am using acer m7720 and looking to upgrade my desktop.

I'm new to custom pc and would kindly ask for some help from professionals builder here.. Im looking for something black and mini for basic gaming such as cs go

How much is ur budget ? i think moneyface has the best recomendation. I only know gtav need at least gtx970 to run smooth , cpu motherboard wasnt that important . i5 4460 +h81 board enough

U cant run gta5 at 750ti smoothy , at least gtx970 onward . 750ti only enough to run cs.go and dota2

Small chassis also expels heat fast due to close proximity wor...

CS:GO GTX 950 can take it to max 60 fps on Full HD.....

Hi guys,

I have been using the same desktop(acer m7720) since more than 5 years ago and contemplating to upgrade my desktop.

I really like the alienware x51 in terms of the specs and the size of the tower and hoping to get something similiar in terms of diy or for the price of $2k for that x51 it's reasonable for me for branded pc if possible to get below $1~$1.5k for close to the alienware build I'm more than happy.

Reasons for not getting alienware:
Just changed my graphic card(asus gtx 750 ti) and PSU(corsair cs750m iirc) on my current desktop, hoping to reuse if possible.

Still not sure if i'm ready to upgrade to windows 10 as i've been using windows 7 for years and I'm afraid of restrictions on 10 such as torrent etc.

Factors to take into consideration for diy:
Size of the tower; best if its about the same as alienware(really like its shape) as my current one is really big and unnecessary.

Sound. (not too loud for fans etc)

I use my computer mainly for gaming or personal daily use, games such as cs:go, gta 5 supportable would be nice.

Wireless card is giving a little problem now and then; suddenly unable to view any networks once in a while.

SSD. (for OS i suppose)

Hoping some experienced would guide,advice,and recommend me a rig or just get alienware.

Custom is the way to go...

Alienware is for noobs on pc parts and willing to get carrot by Michael Dell.

Why would you want an old motherboard ??

I'm new to custom pc and afraid kena carrot also
